JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys hosted Millikin University in their home opener on Saturday. The team suffered a loss to the Big Blue with a final of 64-56. This drops IC to 1-1 overall this season.
The Blueboys were led by
Jake Mazrimas with 12 points in the game.
Nestor Daboin also reached double figures with 11 points and led the team with 8 rebounds.Â
The team struggled to match Millikin offensively trailing 19-29 at the end of the first half. IC battled back to cut the lead to four on a made three-pointer by
Tre Rogers making the score 54-58. IC was unable to regain the lead and would suffer the loss.Â
The team will look to bounce back hosting Principia College on Tuesday, 11/15 at 7:00 PM.
