MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Monmouth College for the Midwest Conference Championship. The men finished fourth overall and the women finished seventh overall.
The Illinois College Blueboys had two All-Conference honorees in the championship meet.
Devin Boggs led the men with a 10th place finish individually and a time of 26:33.99. Boggs time in the 8K race is currently the fastest time in IC school history in the event.
Elgin Scherff followed closely behind him with a 17th-place finish and a time of 27:03.09.
The Lady Blues were led by Ashley Orrick who finished 33rd overall with a time of 27:37.16. Clare Peters followed with a 35th-place finish and a time of 28:13.02.
The team will compete in the NCAA Regional on Saturday, 11/12.
