MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues traveled to face Monmouth College in MWC action on Wednesday night. The team picked up a win over the Fighting Scots after four sets 25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22.
Laura Kaiser led the team with 14 kills in the match.
Paige Knuffman (11) and
Macie Beer (10) were also able to reach double figures in kills.
Summer Brandis was the team's assist leader with 25.
Morgan Burr followed closely behind with 21 assists on the night.
The team had five players with double figures in digs with
Jen Humbolt leading the way tallying 28.
IC started off strong winning the first two sets to take an early lead. After falling to the Scots in a close third set, the Lady Blues were able to bounce back with a win in set four to take the match.
IC will travel to face Cornell College on Saturday, 10/15 at 1:00 PM.
