GENEVA, Ill.- The men's and women's cross country teams traveled to compete at the Aurora Invite on Saturday. The Blueboys finished 12th out of the 15 teams competing and the women had three individuals racing in the 6K race.
The men were led by
Devin Boggs with a 28th place finish recording a time of 27:20.9 in the 8K race. He was followed by
Elgin Scherff placing 71st (28:29.8) and
Will Detmer placing 77th (28:38.1) to round out the top three finishers for IC.Â
The women's team was led by
Kairy Mercado-Ramos finishing with a time of 28:55.7. Following her was
Claire Peters (29:00.4) and
Ashley Drake (31:26.9).Â
Both teams will return to action on Friday, 10/14 at the Greenville Classic hosted by Greenville University.Â
