BELOIT, Wis.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Beloit College in MWC action on Saturday. IC was able to come home with the win over Beloit with a final score of 66-61. This advances the team to 7-7 overall and 3-3 in the MWC.
Josh Harris led the team in scoring totaling 15 points in the contest. Jake Mazerimas led the team on the boards recording a double-double with 10 rebounds and 10 points. Other double figure scorers included
Henry Hayer (13) and
Hunter Ottensmeier (12).
This game came down to the wire as the Blueboys took the lead after a made layup by Harris with 5:00 left in the second half with the score at 59-58. IC was able to pull away down the stretch to come away with the win.
IC will return to action hosting Ripon College tomorrow 1/22 at 3:00 PM.
