CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa- The Illinois College Blueboys soccer team earned a win on the road against Coe College on Friday night with a final of 1-0. This advances the Blueboys to 3-2 overall this season.
Illinois College was able to connect with the net in the 18th minute on a goal by
Toby Ybarra after an assist by
Chris Jean-Louis. This was the only score in the match as the Blueboys picked up the win.Â
IC had a strong offensive front out-shooting Coe 16-6 in the match.
Owen Macias stood in goal for the Blueboys finishing the night with three saves.Â
The Blueboys will host Buena Vista University on Sunday, 9/19 at 1:30 PM.Â
