JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues suffered a loss to the Westminster College Blue Jays with a final of 8-0. This drops IC to 1-2 overall on the year.
Before the start of today's contest the Lady Blues women's soccer program took the time to honor their seniors
Abby Isham,
Chloe Kirbach,
Katie Elmore, and
Morgan Lallish. The seniors were greeted by their coaches with their senior gifts and then enjoyed a video message from their loved ones on the video board.
Westminster would take control of the contest early getting to the net on four separate occasions to build a demanding lead over the Lady Blues in the first half. The lead proved too much to overcome and the Lady Blues would suffer the loss to the Blue Jays.
Savannah Henson represented IC in the goal finishing the game with 12 saves.
Illinois College will travel to take on Lake Forest on Wednesday, 4/7 at 4:30 PM.
