JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys earned a big win Saturday over Lincoln Christian University with a final score of 4-0. This improves the team to 1-1-1 overall this season.
TK Ayers was able to strike first for the Blueboys in the 25th minute on an assist by
Spencer Bloome. This would put IC up 1-0 at the end of the first half.
Ayers would earn his second goal of the day for the Blueboys in the 61st minute to increase their lead to 2-0.
The Blueboys would continue to shine offensively with a goal by
Cade Trautvetter in the 63rd minute, and another goal in the 73rd minute by
Josh Platzbecker. This would be enough to earn the Blueboys their first win of the season.
The team will look ahead to take on Greenville University on the road Wednesday, 3/17 at 7:00 PM.
