JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys defeated the Eureka College Red Devils with a final score of 76-68. This improves the team to 4-1 overall.
Jake Mazrimas had an outstanding night recording a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. The team had two more double figure scorers including
Troy Burrows with 16 and
Hunter Ottensmeier with 12.Â
Illinois College would jump to an early lead after a made three-pointer by Burrows at the end of the first half put the team up 47-33 going into halftime. The team would continue to maintain their lead in the second half to secure the win.
The Blueboys ended the game shooting 48 percentage from field goal range and totaled an impressive 40 percent from beyond the arc.Â
The Blueboys will hit the road to face Aurora on Saturday, 2/27 at 5:00 PM.
