RIPON, Wis.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to face Ripon College in MWC action on Saturday. The team suffered a loss to Ripon with a final of 64-68. This drops the Blueboys to 4-5 overall and 0-2 in the MWC.
Jake Mazrimas led the team with 17 points and seven rebounds. He was followed by
Tre Rogers (16) and
Hunter Ottensmeier (10) who both reached double figures in scoring.
The game remained highly competitive late in the contest.
Tre Rogers would bring the Blueboys within two points with a made layup with 1:33 left in the game. Ripon was able to maintain their lead down the stretch to secure the win.
The team will travel to face Monmouth College on Wednesday, 12/8 at 5:30 PM.
