LEXINGTON, Ky.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to take on Transylvania University on Tuesday. The team suffered a loss to the Pioneers with a final of 69-85. This drops IC to 5-7 overall.
Hunter Ottensmeier and
Jahkeis Tippett both led the team in scoring with 10 points each.
Nestor Daboin and
Josh Harris led the team on the boards recording four rebounds each.Â
The Pioneers got off to a strong start early in the contest. The team stood ahead of the Blueboys 30-42 as the game headed to halftime. IC battled back but was unable to overcome the deficit.Â
The team will host Illinois Institute of Technology on Thursday, 12/30 at 5:30 PM.Â
