CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa- The Illinois College Lady Blues traveled to face Coe College this Sunday. The team suffered a loss to the Kohawks with a final of 55-65. This drops the Lady Blues to 1-3 overall.
IC was led by
Lilly Pepper with 22 points and seven rebounds in the contest.
Junie Zirkelbach followed finishing with 14 points and six rebounds also leading the team with three assists.
The Lady Blues fell to an early deficit trailing 6-17 at the end of the first quarter. The team was able to battle back to cut the Kohawk's lead to just six points as the game headed to halftime with the score 21-27. IC fought hard in the second half, but was unable to retake the lead and would suffer the loss.
The Lady Blues will host Millikin University on Sunday 11/28 at 2:00 PM.
