JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys wrapped up their Homecoming Week with their home football game against the Lake Forest College Foresters. The team welcomed back many alumni and community members to enjoy the Homecoming festivities. IC suffered a loss to the Foresters with a final of 13-48.
Quarterback
Destin Chance made his return to the helm of the Blueboys offense after being out with an injury. Chance led the team with 194 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air. He also led the team on the ground rushing for 48 yards on 18 attempts.
KJ Corley led the team in receiving with 69 yards on five catches and one receiving touchdown. He was followed by
Collin Brunstein who totaled 62 yards receiving on three catches with one touchdown.Â
The defense was led by
Kyle Lane with seven total tackles in the contest.
Stuart Wolf led the team recording two sacks.Â
The Blueboys will look to bounce back on Saturday, 10/16 as they travel to take on Lawrence University at 1:00 PM.Â
