JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The IC women's soccer team hosted Monmouth College in a MWC battle on Tuesday night. The Lady Blues came up short in a hard fought match with a final score of 1-6. This drops the Lady Blues to 2-12 overall and 0-5 in the MWC.
Charity Yount was able to get IC on the board after an assist by
Haley Sommer in the 13th minute. The Fighting Scots were able to put together an aggressive defensive front to hold IC scoreless for the rest of the match and walk away with the win.
Cassidy Tacker represented the team in goal with 10 saves in the contest.
The team will host Cornell College for Senior Day on Sunday, 10/24 at 2:00 PM.
