BELOIT, Wis.- The Illinois College Lady Blues soccer team traveled to take on Beloit College in MWC action on Saturday. IC suffered a loss on the road with a final of 1-4.
Beloit got off to an early start scoring in the second minute to take an early lead over the Lady Blues.
Haley Sommer was able to answer for IC with a goal in the 22nd minute to tie the score 1-1.
Beloit would retake the lead scoring two more goals to hold a 3-1 lead heading into halftime. The deficit proved to be too much to overcome for IC as Beloit would walk away with the victory.
Savannah Henson represented the Lady Blues in goal with five saves in the contest.
The Lady Blues will continue MWC play hosting Monmouth College on Tuesday, 10/19 at 7:00 PM.
