BELOIT, Wis.- The Illinois College Blueboys picked up a win on the road over conference competitor Beloit College with a final score of 3-0. This advances the Blueboys to 8-6-1 and 1-4 in the MWC.
The Blueboys were able to strike first on a goal by
Tiernan Freiberger in the 30th minute assisted by
Dillon Arens. Arens would connect with a goal of his own later in the first half to give the Blueboys the 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
IC added one more goal by
Thomas Menke in the 70th minute to extend the lead once more.
Owen Macias represented IC in the goal with five saves in the shutout.
IC will host their senior night against Monmouth College on Wednesday, 10/20 at 7:00 PM.
