JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College men's soccer team faced Cornell College in a MWC battle. The Blueboys fell short in a rainy game with a final score of 0-3. This drops the Blueboys to 7-6-1 overall and 0-4 in the MWC.
The team fought hard through tough weather conditions to try and keep the Rams at bay. Cornell would jump to an early lead scoring three goals in the first half. This would prove to be the final with both teams held scoreless in the second half.
Tyler Schiltz led the team with five shots in the match.
Owen Macias represented the Blueboys in goal with three saves on the night.
The Blueboys will hit the road to face Beloit on Saturday, 10/16 at 4:00 PM.
