GALESBURG, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues traveled to face conference competitor Knox College Saturday. The team was able to win a hard fought match after five sets 21-25, 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 15-7. This moves the Lady Blues into third place in the Midwest Conference standings with a record of 8-10 overall and 4-2 in the MWC.

Jen Humbolt continued to be a strong part of the defense recording 34 digs over the course of the five sets. She was followed by Reagan Gifford with 22 digs in the match. Abbie Horstmann had a strong performance offensively totaling 12 kills. 

The team will travel to face Fontbonne University on Thursday, 10/14 at 7:00 PM.
