FENTON, Mo. – The Illinois College women's soccer team gave up a goal in the second minute of the match to Webster University on Tuesday evening and could never recover, falling to the Gorloks by a score of 7-0. The Lady Blues drop to 4-2-0 on the season.
Webster added onto its lead with goals in the 21st, 26th and 44th minutes prior to the break. In the second half, the Gorloks added tallies in the 51st, 70th and 75th minutes.
Charlotte Crofton made 11 saves in a little more than 51 minutes of action in front of goal for the Lady Blues.
Savannah Henson went the rest of the way and made eight saves.
Illinois College will look to regroup quickly, returning home to England Stadium to host Lincoln Christian University on Saturday morning starting at 11 a.m.
