JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Illinois College Director of Athletics
Mike Snyder has announced staff promotions for four members of the department.
Kristy Duncan,
Alex Keil and
Caitlyn Moody have all been elevated to Assistant Athletic Directors in their respective areas, while
Meghan Roman has been raised to the role of Associate Athletics Director.
The head volleyball coach since 2014,
Kristy Duncan will continue to run the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Through her role with that organization, she has been a vital part of putting on the annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day camp for young girls in the Jacksonville community, overseeing the Special Olympics basketball tournament in King Fieldhouse, and helping organize the monthly Women Talk Wednesdays on the Illinois College campus.
"I would like to congratulate Kristy on her appointment to our athletics senior staff," Snyder said. "Her background in program development and successful work with SAAC will position her well to help lead our department. I am confident in her and her leadership ability to help our senior staff continue to provide the best opportunities for student success at IC."
Three staff members who were already members of the IC administration team have had promotions as well.
Meghan Roman will continue in her role of head softball coach for the Lady Blues, but will now be the Associate Athletics Director in addition to her role as Senior Woman Administrator.
Caitlyn Moody, formerly the Director of Athletic Facilities & Compliance, will have the new title of Assistant Athletics Director for Internal Operations. Finally,
Alex Keil will see his title change from Director of Sports Information to Assistant Athletics Director for Communications.
