DE PERE, Wis. – The Illinois College volleyball team fell on the road to St. Norbert College on Friday night, 3-0 (23-25, 20-25, 15-25). The loss, the first of the season for the Lady Blues in the Midwest Conference, sends the team to 13-4 (2-1 MWC) on the year.
Illinois College managed only 28 kills on the night while committing 16 attack errors, ending with a team hitting percentage of .098. St. Norbert hit .243 as a team, including a .364 hitting percentage in the second set.
Ali Pankey had a team-high eight kills on the night along with 15 digs.
Brenna Dameris had six kills and
Maddie Ramsey added five.
Elizabeth Ganley ended one dig shy of a double-double with 22 assists and nine digs.
Madie Budd had 11 digs and
Cheyanne Jockisch contributed 10.
Brooke Brandis served three aces on the night.
MWC play continues tomorrow afternoon as Illinois College takes on Ripon College at 1 p.m.
