JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's tennis team dropped a pair of home matches on Saturday to visiting Webster University and Judson University by identical 9-0 scores. The Blueboys fall to 0-3 on the season with the setbacks.
Eli Rhoad was the closest to securing a point for Illinois College on the day when he faced Webster's Ivan Prgomet at No. 2 singles. Rhoad fell by a 6-1 count in the first set, but rebounded for a 7-6 (8-6) win in a second set tiebreaker. Moving on to a third set tiebreaker, the Gorloks' No. 2 man was able to come away with a 10-5 victory. Playing at No. 1,
