Men's tennis falls to Webster, Fontbonne

The Illinois College men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches on Friday in St. Louis, Missouri, falling to Webster University (9-0) and Fontbonne University (5-4).

The Blueboys nearly notched their first win of the season against Fontbonne, as John Hoefert and Anthony Samples won at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively. The pair combined to win at No. 1 doubles, as well, and the duo of Austin Ellsworth and T.J. Lawal was victorious at No. 3 doubles.

The Blueboys fell to 0-10 with the losses. They are back in action on Tuesday at Vincennes University.
