Blueboys fall to McKendree in tennis opener, 9-0

The Illinois College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to McKendree University in the team's season-opener on Thursday in King Fieldhouse in Jacksonville.

Illinois College's John Hoefert, Anthony Samples, Michael Hoefert, Caleb Brown, Sheldon Null and Austin Ellsworth all lost in singles auction, as did the doubles teams of John Hoefert and Samples, Michael Hoefert and Brown, and Null and Ellsworth.

The Blueboys are back in action on March 18 when they host Kaskaskia College.
