Volleyball topped by Westminster

The Illinois College volleyball team was turned away in a match at Westminster College on Wednesday as the Lady Blues lost in three games, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.

Alese Speckhart tallied a team-high nine kills, while Megan Moore, Holly Crocher and Erin Washington chipped in seven each. Maurissa Moulton and Lisa Lowry had 15 and 16 assists, respectively, and Allye Wuest led the team with 14 digs. 

The Lady Blues fell to 2-7 with the loss. They travel to Decatur on Tuesday to take on Robert Morris University Springfield and host Millikin University.
