Volleyball falls to Lawrence in three

Lawrence University topped the Illinois College volleyball team in three games Saturday in Appleton, Wisconsin. Lawrence won by scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-17.

Alese Speckhart tallied a team-high seven kills for IC. Maurissa Moulton dished out 12 assists. Moulton and Allison Perkins had 10 and 11 digs, respectively. Allye Wuest had three aces and Moulton had three blocks.

The Lady Blues fell to 3-15 overall and 0-5 in Midwest Conference play with the loss. They travel to Monmouth College on Tuesday.
