The Illinois College volleyball team split two matches at the Illinois Wesleyan University Barker Chevrolet Classic on Saturday, beating Eureka College in three sets before losing to Concordia University (Wisconsin) in five sets.
The Lady Blues beat Eureka 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.
Maddy Keith had seven kills, while
Megan Moore and Missy Norville chipped in six each.
Maurissa Moulton had 19 assists and
Kayla Birdsell had 16 digs.
Allye Wuest had three aces and eight digs.
The Lady Blues lost to Concordia 25-17, 21-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-12. Moore and
Brittney Burgess chipped in 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Moulton dished out 34 assists. Birdsell had 33 digs and Wuest had three aces and 16 digs.
The Lady Blues are now 2-6. They travel to Blackburn College on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match.
