The Illinois College volleyball team dropped matches to Illinois Wesleyan University and Lincoln Christian College at the Barker Chevrolet Classic in Bloomington on Friday. The Lady Blues lost to Illinois Wesleyan 25-19, 25-10, 25-21, before falling to Lincoln Christian 23-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.
Brittney Burgess tallied eight kills in the match against Illinois Wesleyan, while Missy Norville and
Megan Moore chipped in five each.
Maurissa Moulton had 21 assists and
Kayla Birdsell recorded 10 digs.
Moore had a team-high 11 kills in the match with Lincoln Christian.
Maddy Keith had six kills. Moulton had 29 assists and Birdsell had 18 digs.
The Lady Blues fell to 1-5 with the losses. They face Eureka College and Concordia University at the Barker Chevrolet Classic on Saturday.
