The Illinois College volleyball team beat Anderson University but lost to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana. IC beat Anderson 25-22, 25-17, 13-25, 25-20. The Lady Blues lost to Rose-Hulman 25-17, 25-20, 25-11.
Brittney Burgess had 11 kills and 17 digs against Anderson. Missy Norville had nine kills and two blocks.
Maurissa Moulton dished out 29 assists and
Megan Moore recorded eight kills.
Kayla Birdsell chipped in 17 digs and four aces.
Burgess led the team in kills again against Rose-Hulman with six. Norville had five. Moulton had 15 assists and Birdsell had 12 digs.
The Lady Blues now 4-8. They host Westminster College Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
