Volleyball outlasts Grinnell, wins 3-2

The Illinois College volleyball team outlasted the Grinnell College Pioneers Saturday, winning a five-game match at Grinnell, Iowa. The Lady Blues won 25-18, 15-25, 25-18, 24-26, 15-10.

Alese Speckhart tallied a team-high 11 kills. Brittney Burgess and Missy Norville added nine each. Allye Wuest had six aces and 12 digs. Maurissa Moulton dished out 28 assists and Kayla Birdsell had 23 digs.

IC improved to 9-11 overall and 3-3 in Midwest Conference play with the win.
