Tristan Camp is in his first year with the Illinois College baseball program, serving as the team’s Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
A native of Montgomery City, Missouri, Camp was a standout at Montgomery County R-II High School. He began his collegiate career at Arkansas State University before transferring to Mars Hill University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Allied Health Sciences and a minor in Health & Human Performance.
Camp completed his playing career at Crown College, where he was a key leader on the 2024 pitching staff. That season, Crown won the UMAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Regional. He earned First Team All-UMAC honors and was named the UMAC Tournament MVP.
Following his playing career, he served as Head Assistant Coach at Crown College. In his first season, his pitching staff posted the second-lowest ERA in program history and ranked in the top 100 nationally in ERA, K/9, and K/BB.
He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sports Coaching and Administration at Crown College and is on track to graduate in August 2025.
