Abby Vorreyer is in her 13th year at Illinois College and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator for the 2024–25 academic year. In this role, she oversees NCAA Division III, Midwest Conference (MWC), and institutional compliance, leads educational efforts related to compliance policies, and manages student-athlete eligibility certifications.

Before stepping into athletic administration in 2021, Vorreyer led the Illinois College men’s and women’s golf programs for nine seasons. Under her guidance, IC student-athletes earned 15 All-SLIAC honors, 13 All-MWC honors, one MWC Individual Conference Championship, and multiple school records. She also coached 52 Academic All-MWC honorees and had four student-athletes earn MWC Performer of the Week recognition.

In August 2024, Vorreyer earned a Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She became a PGA professional member in 2019 and currently serves on the Illinois Women’s Golf Association Board.

A native of Springfield, Illinois, Vorreyer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield, where she was a standout student-athlete. She set multiple program records, became the first golfer in UIS history to earn All-GLVC honors, and qualified for postseason competition.
