Nathan Kogut was hired at Illinois College in April of 2017 and will begin his first season with the IC men's and women's soccer programs in the Fall of 2017.
Originally from Texas, Kogut attended Colorado State University and graduated in 2010. While there, he interned with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer and served as a staff coach for the Fort Collins Arsenal Soccer Club. After returning home for a year to College Station, Texas and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Brazos Valley Soccer Club, Kogut went to the University of Alabama where for two years he was the graduate assistant manager for the Crimson Tide women's soccer team.Â
Since 2013, Kogut has held numerous positions with clubs and colleges. While at Alabama he was a staff coach for the Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club and went onto the Collierville Soccer Association while he was an assistant men's coach at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. for the 2013 season. He was hired as an assistant women's soccer coach at Alderson Broaddus in 2014 and spent two seasons there before being named the Head Women's Coach at Glenville State College. Following his time there, Kogut returned to Alderson Broaddus and was the assistant coach for both programs while also being involved in the Mountaineer United Soccer Club and the Barbour County Youth Soccer program.
Kogut earned his B.A. in Technical Journalism and Mass Communications from Colorado State in 2010. He added a M.E. in Human Performance from Alabama in 2012.
