Josh Edison enters his second year with the IC men's and women's golf team in the 2023-24 season. 

Edison comes to IC after spending the past couple of years as the Head Golf Coach at Heartland Community College. There he constructed the College's first golf program in school history, handled the budgeting and travel coordination, and recruited locally and nationally to bring students into the program. He was also a Success Coach at Heartland Community College helping students transition into college life by providing ongoing support and different resources. 

"I am very excited to join the IC golf program. The previous coach left me a strong foundation that I am looking forward to building upon and continuing the trend of recruiting high-level student-athletes to play for Illinois College. I have received huge support from the entire athletic department in my short time here and look forward to joining the winning tradition they have set in athletics and in the classroom," said Edison

Edison earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Illinois State University while participating as a member of the men's golf team. He then continued his education at Illinois State earning his Master of Science in Sports Psychology and later received a Ph. D. in Psychology: Performance from Grand Canyon University.
