Willis enters his first season as an assistant football coach at Illinois College in the 2021 season. 

Troy will be working as the defensive line coach as well as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. Troy earned his bachelor's of science degree from the University of Illinois in 2016. While at U of I, Willis worked with the football video and game analysis departments for the Fighting Illini.

After completing 3 years of medical school, Troy decided to follow his passion in football and sports performance. He hopes to use the knowledge and experience he has gained to help develop the players and program to the highest level possible.
