Tre Stewart begins his second season on the Illinois College coaching staff in 2016. Stewart works primarily with the secondary.

Stewart played at Austin College for four seasons, graduating in 2015. During his time at Austin College, he was a four-year starter, two-time all-conference selection and a preseason All-American as a senior. He then spent a year on the coaching staff as a graduate assistant, earning a Master's degree in Education.
