Riley Reid is now in his sixth season as the Recruiting Coordinator, Run Game Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach for the Blueboys in 2024.
In the 2023 season, the Blueboys rushing attack averaged 175 yards per game with 5.0 yards per carry, totaling nearly 2000 rushing yards with 1 All-Region selection at Running Back TJ Little.Â
He started his coaching career at Briar Cliff University as a Tight Ends Coach. While at Briar Cliff he mentored 1 All-Conference Tight End as well as being a part of the program’s first winning season in school history. Since arriving in the spring of 2019, Reid has mentored 8 all-conference selections in the Offensive Line room with most recently Collier McPherson, Chandler Brown, and Evan Henley here at Illinois College.

An Illinois College alum, Reid graduated from the Hilltop in 2018. While playing on the offensive line at IC, Reid graduated with a Bachelor of Education with a focus in physical education. He started two years on the offensive line and was a part of the sixth-best red zone offense in the nation at the Division III level. In his time with the team, the Blueboys had 13 games of 200 rushing yards or more.Â
