Dominic Bornman begins his second season at Illinois College in 2019. Bornman will be the team's Running Backs Coach and Special Teams Coach while also serving as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for the entire IC athletic department.

Bornman comes to Illinois College after most recently working at Dickinson College where he coached wide receivers and was Co-Special Teams Coordinator. Before his time with the Red Devils, he was a Sports Performance Intern at Stanford University where he assisted in the training of multiple olympic athletes including Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel, Lia Neal and Kassidy Cook. While there, he worked with the football team that went to the 2017 Alamo Bowl and three of Stanford’s National Championship varsity teams. Prior to his stint with Stanford, Bornman coached for three seasons with the Lycoming College Warriors, coaching wide receivers while operating as the football Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. He began his coaching career at Trinity High School in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Bornman earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Juniata College where he was a four-year football letter winner. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Bornman resides in Jacksonville.
