Dick Campbell enters his third season as an assistant football coach at Illinois College. Campbell is the father of Illinois College head football coach Garrett Campbell. He works primarily with linebackers.

Dick Campbell earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University Long Beach and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. A retired administrator, teacher and coach, Campbell brings over 35 years of coaching experience at the high school and college levels.

Campbell and his wife, Lois, reside in Placentia, California. They have six sons: Garrett, Gregg, Gavin, Steve, Mike and Greg Scott.
