This week's SAAC Spotlight Athlete is Shannen Quehl of the Illinois College women's basketball team. Shannen is a junior from Decatur, Illinois where she attended St. Teresa High School. The IC women's basketball team plays its home opener tonight, Nov. 21, against Blackburn College at 6 p.m.
Why I chose Illinois College:
I chose IC because it’s amazing facilities and the small class sizes. It’s very easy to make friends at IC and I was still able to continue my career as a student athlete
