SPRINGFIELD, Ill. –
Robby Biesenthal posted a school record to lead the IC cross country team on Friday at the Prairie Stars Invite on the UIS Cross Country Course.
Biesenthal's 5K record time of 16:35.45 was good for 17th place on the evening.
Benny Helfrich was second for IC and 35th overall in 17:26.99.
The Blueboys got a 45th-place showing from
Jack Armbruster with a time of 18:07.26, while
Jack Rogers was 46th in 18:10.82.
Wyatt Thurman took 49th in 18:19.92.
The IC contingent was rounded out by
Zac Howard (55th in 18:28.89),
Hank Fletcher (61st in 18:43.29),
LeBron Reed (63rd in 18:49.12), and
Devin Bradfield (68th in 19:12.67).
