JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College clay target team is ranking among the nation's best after the opening week of action, according to USA Clay Target.
IC's
Hannah Hopper leads all females in the country in skeet after posting a perfect 25 last week.
Ann Feldhake (20.5) is fifth while
Reece Winebrinner (16.5) is eighth, and
Emma Bowman (16) is ninth. On the men's side,
Adam Stuckemeyer ranks seventh after a score of 22 in week 1. As a team, Illinois College is alone in third place (62.5).
Stuckemeyer leads the nation among males in sporting clays after hitting 42 in the opening competition. IC's
Tyler Samm is in seventh (34) with
Brice Stewart (25) tied for 10th. Hopper is second among females, connecting on 43 targets. Winebrinner (34) is sixth, Bowman (33) is seventh, and
Delanie Teno (29) is alone in ninth. IC ranks second nationally with 60.5 targets connected.
In trap, Stuckemeyer is tied for second nationally after hitting 24.5 targets in week 1. Among the women,
Aurora Baker and
Morgan Tracey are tied for fourth at 23.5 while Bowman (23) is tied for seventh and Winebrinner (22.5) is tied for ninth. IC is fourth in the team standings with 495.
