JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's tennis team posted a non-conference victory with a 6-1 victory over Southwestern Illinois College in a non-conference contest on Saturday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.
IC is now 5-2 overall.
IC 6 SWIC 1
The Lady Blues opened the day by winning the doubles point. IC got a 6-4 win from
Alyssa Wise and
Clara Bach at No. 1 after SWIC forfeited the other two matches.
In singles play, the Lady Blues got a 6-1, 6-1 win from Bach at No. 2 and a 6-4, 6-0 victory from
Campbell Hayes at No. 3. SWIC forfeited singles matches at No. 4-6.
