DECORAH, Iowa – Luther scored a goal in each half and beat the Illinois College women's soccer team, 2-0, in a Midwest Conference match on Saturday at the Luther Soccer Field.

The Lady Blues are now 2-8-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference action. Luther moved to 2-2-2 and 1-0-0.

The Norse took the lead with a goal at the 22:20 mark and had that lead at halftime. Luther added a key insurance goal at the 50:24 mark, and that would be the final scoring of the day.

The Lady Blues had four shots on the day, and Katy Adler had two. Lexi Van Dyke and Marisa Scott also had shots for IC. Stella Gonzalez had two saves in goal for IC.
