JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – J'Aiden Cranwell-Meneses scored in the final minutes of the match to send the Illinois College men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Monmouth in a Midwest Conference match on Tuesday inside England Stadium.

The win moved IC to 5-2-1 overall and 2-0-0 in league play. Monmouth is now 0-9-0 and 0-2-0.

The teams battled through a scoreless first half. The Blueboys out-shot the Fighting Scots 8-3 in the opening period.

The contest remained tied until 1:41 remained when Cranwell-Meneses found the net during a scramble right in front of the Fighting Scots' net.

IC forced the action most of the evening, out-shooting Monmouth, 16-4. Oscar Liogon Arenas led the Blueboys with four shots while Wyatt Gerstenslager added three.

TJ Esseily posted a clean sheet in goal while recording two saves.
