ORLANDO, Fla. – The Illinois College Dance team recorded a pair of top-four finishes on Sunday to highlight its appearance at The Dance Union National Championships inside the Orange County Convention Center West Complex.
IC finished third in the team performance category. North Central took the title with a 90.38 score. Catholic University scored an 88.72 for second, with IC third at 86.30.
The Lady Blues finished fourth in the jazz category. The University of New England took the top honors with a score of 91.00. The Lady Blues posted an 89.04.
In addition to its top four finishes, IC was presented with a Legacy award plaque for five years of consistent dedication to competing at Dance Team Union's College Classic National Championship.Â
