JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's tennis team opened the 2026 portion of the season with a 6-1 win over Avila on Friday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.

The duo of Lilly Ingram and
Sabrina Ingram took the lone contested doubles match with a 7-5 win at No. 1. Avila forfeited the other two dual matches.
In singles play, IC got wins from
Clara Bach (No. 2) and
Madison Eastin (No. 3). Avila forfeited the final three matches.
