JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College women's golf team extended its dominance at home on Monday, winning the Country Club Classic at Jacksonville Country Club for the fifth consecutive year.
Junior Shelby Seiler of Auburn, Illinois, set the tone with a steady front nine, playing even par through her first seven holes before finishing with a six-over 78 to secure the individual title.
Macie Petropoulos followed in second place with a 12-over 84, while Emily Guest and Karlie Basler tied for third after carding rounds of 85.
The Lady Blues left no doubt in the team standings, posting a score of 332 to finish 60 strokes ahead of Westminster (392). Blackburn and Eureka also competed in the field.
