Tyson Elliott Named MWC Offensive Player of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's Tyson Elliott has been named the Midwest Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league today.

A sophomore quarterback from Stone Mountain, Mo., Elliott made his first career start on Thursday and went 22-for-30 for 252 yards with four touchdowns in helping IC to a 28-9 win over Greenville. 

The Blueboys are back in action Saturday when they open Midwest Conference play by hosting Lake Forest at 1:00 p.m.
