JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's tennis team split a pair of Saturday matches at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.
IC dropped the opening dual of the day to Greenville, 4-3, before bouncing back to shutout Westminster, 7-0, in the nightcap.
The Lady Blues are now 3-2 on the season.

IC opened the match by taking the doubles point, thanks to victories from
Lily Ingram and
Sophie Muir at No. 2 and
Sabrina Ingram and
Morgan Keefe at No. 3.
Greenville rebounded to win four of the six singles matches to earn the victory. The Lady Blues got singles wins from the Ingram sisters – Lily at No. 4 and Sabrina at No. 6.
IC 7 Westminster 0
The Lady Blues bounced back in a big way to win the second dual of the day as they dropped only two games the entire match.
IC opened by winning both contested doubles matches, 6-0.
Alyssa Wise and
Clara Bach at No. 1 and
Sabrina Ingram and Muir at No. 2. Westminster forfeited the No. 3 doubles match to
Madison Marshall and Keefe.
Singles play was much of the same as IC rolled to six victories without dropping a game.
Wise (No. 1) won 6-2, 6-0, while Bach (No. 2),
Lily Ingram (No. 3), Keefe (No. 4), and
Sophi Barrow (No. 5) all won by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
Sabrina Ingram won by forfeit at No. 6.
